Best Life Disability Services believe that their experiences should give you the opportunity to build capacity by exploring and learning about the places you visit, as such you will receive a welcome pack at the start of your respite that includes a travel journal. Here you can record your adventures with instant images taken by your support worker to look back on.
During your weekend away you can participate with your fellow travelers in gathering information and collecting momentos of your trip with our Scavenger Hunt.

Hahndorf Farm Barn
The Hahndorf Farm Barn is set among a beautiful vista and gives you the opportunity to interact with the local animal residents. You will have the opportunity to milk the cows, feed the lambs or hold the baby chicks inside the barn. If you like a bit more of an adventure explore the farm on a tractor ride, or for the kids pony rides are available.

Visit the home of Hans Hysen and view his amazing works of art during a self-guided tour, where the Federation era “Arts and Crafts” décor allow everyone to experience the lifestyle of another age.
Melba's Chocolate Factory
Melba’s Chocolate Factory is a ‘working’ tourism factory in the picturesque township of Woodside in the Adelaide Hills. Visitors today find the old cheese factory transformed into a large emporium style chocolate and confectionery factory shop.
